Our nation spends a considerable amount of time planning for war as a means to solve conflicts.

Instead of planning for war, P2, Planning for Peace believes that it is more effective to plan for sustainable peace. We believe we can accomplish this by creating a highly capable sustainable peace-planning process. Transforming and implementing the unparalleled war planning processes used today and using them to plan for peace can do this.

The ability to develop scientific processes and models that can predict peace (both human and mathematical) is as equally important as is predicting the outcome of established war plans. This is a needed capability for today to ensure the future.

Vision — We envision a future where governments (national-local) choose to intentionally plan for sustainable peace.

Mission Today—Our mission is to develop tools for peace planning, further the discipline of peace planning, and to plan for peace in parallel with and/or complementary to war planning.
